About This Game
Fire Emblem Engage NSP ROM is a tactical RPG game for Nintendo Switch where you play as the Divine Dragon. Joining forces with legendary heroes, you must use Emblem Rings to fight the Fallen Dragon and save the continent from an ancient threat. The game introduces a vibrant new continent called Elyos and a host of new characters who join the legendary emblems from across the series.
Although Fire Emblem features an entirely new cast of characters, its nostalgia lives on in the Emblem Rings, which allow players to summon legendary heroes from previous games in the series. The main character, Allaire (male or female, depending on the player’s choice), can summon these emblems and share their rings with other party members, allowing them to connect and communicate with these legendary heroes. While the Emblems offer considerable power, their abilities can only be used for a limited number of turns before requiring a cooldown.
Discover a New Way to Fight
In extended battles, these skills become your greatest advantage. Combined with Engage’s now-infinite time rewind mechanic, players have a variety of rewarding ways to tackle increasingly challenging battles. Engage introduces changes that longtime Fire Emblem fans will recognize, but may be new to those starting out with Three Houses. Players can visit the social hub between turn-based battles, but the pre-defined, interconnected world map means they’ll spend far less time there than they would in Garriga’s Mitch.
Ultimately, Engage offers an immersive adventure that pushes the player to continually progress. While the main story follows a set path, optional quests allow players to revisit previously explored locations, meet new characters, collect valuable items, and earn additional experience points for their party. In its opening chapters, Engage skillfully introduces many of its new features and familiar gameplay mechanics.
